Carbon-Based Sb2(S, Se)3 Solar Cells

Sb2(S, Se)3 solar cells have shown great promise due to the advantages of low cost, non-toxic and high stability. However, traditional devices commonly use noble metal as back electrode, which not only increases device cost but also limits Herein, carbon materials are used replace metals in cells. In addition, grow high-quality films, a two-step hydrothermal method was developed. The carbon-based based on above film achieved power conversion efficiency (PCE) 2.76%. After inserting stable P3HT layer at film/carbon interface, hole extraction enhanced PCE promoted 4.15%. This work brings out promising route produce emerging with cost-effective materials.
